There is something about the idea of “breaking the bank” that appeals to people. Roulette is one of the games that has made people rich in the past with a single spin of the wheel. Cheating at Roulette

Now most people didn’t wake up someday and decided that they wanted to cheat a Las Vegas casino, but most people are curious about how it may be done. Unless you have a professional cheating team, if you cheat, you are going to have to do it the old fashioned way: finding mistakes in the game the casinos haven’t discovered yet.

The Biased Roulette Wheel

A biased wheel is a roulette wheel that is slightly out of balance and causes the ball to land in a set pattern. This happens when the wooden bowl of the roulette wheel has become warped due to harsh conditions or the ball bearings are failing. These bearing allow the roulette wheel to spin on its axis. Another problem is that the pockets or slots have worn larger with use and now the ball lands into it easier.

Always check multiple casinos and check to see if they have any older tables still in play. Look for worn felt or cracked armrests on the table itself. This may mean the wheel is a little bit biased. Watch the play from this wheel for an hour or so to determine if your theory is correct.

Record the spin results on the suspect wheel while looking to see if any numbers come up over and over. But be subtle, since the casino’s staff is looking for a biased table just as hard as you are. The Croupier’s Signature

Croupiers are trained to spin the roulette ball in a random speed and start location on the wheel. But everyone gets into a rut and becomes comfortable and roulette dealers are no different. Over time, a croupier can develop a telltale “signature”. Look for dealers who are older or who seem to have arthritis in their hands or fingers. Arthritis is very painful and limits movement of the hands and reduces fine muscle skills.

Also a bored dealer is a careless dealer. It is nearing the end of shift and everyone gets antsy to go home and put their feet up. And because the croupier maybe thinking of other things, their training can slip for a short time. During the period you may notice that they spin the ball in a set and slightly predictable pattern.

You don’t have to resort to special tricks and illegal devices to beat and cheat roulette, just follow the tips outlined above.
